2024 Parade theme: Christmas on the farm

The Town of Richlands NC Holds an Evening Christmas Parade through the town every year in Early December. The Christmas parade is held on the Evening of Saturday Dec 14th 2024 in the town of Richlands NC. The parade starts at the High school and makes its way through down town before looping back to the High School. Please do not show up prior to 4:30.

The Parade has entries of all sizes and shapes and feature one and only one Santa!!!!

Each year we host an Entry for horses to be able to attend the parade. All Horses in the parade are co-ordinated through us. We are very fortunate that the town allows us to enter the parade with horses and we open our entry up for the Public to Join us with thier own horses to ride the streets of richlands in the parade!

The Horse entries for the parade are managed by the FNT Farm and Ranch LLC.

Heres a little more information on what to expect if you would like to join us in the parade!

*****All Entries Must be Decorated and have LIGHTS!!!!

*****Waiver must be signed by all riders.

****** Line up will start NO EARLIER THEN 4:30PM in the lot behind the carwash. (See map Below)

*****Negative Coggins is required and WILL be checked prior to you parking and unloading.

Parade Route is marked on the below map, the green box is where the horse will be parking and stagging for other entries. We will be in the lot to the left side of the A On the map. The same place as every year :)

Three payment options for this year!

Option 1- Pay on website in advance- $12 and you can use your credit card/paypal. Advance price will be good until Nov 25th. After that the price will jump to $15 per entry.

Option 2- Pay Day off with Cash and still get the $12 per entry price since we wont have processing fees to pay!

Option 3- Bring your own Poop catcher/bag that attaches to your horse while riding so we dont have to scoop your poop and pay $10 cash day of! (we will need to see your poop catcher for the discount to apply

These funds go towards clean up of the area after you leave as well as renting a manure vechicle to follow the horses and clean up as we travel around town in the parade. 4-H members volunteer to work the event receive all profits.
